Especially post-2008, financial services firms have been assessing customer perceptions of their brands. They’re working to regain trust and improve transparency. To give you an idea of our work in these industries: we’ve explored affluent investor attitudes, looking for potential differences between financial planning and investment-only audiences. We’ve done tightly targeted regional work of business banking customer for a local bank considering expansion. We’ve provided market landscape and trend analysis of industry competitors. We conducted segmentation. We’ve worked with insurance clients who sought to revisit front line employee engagement after weathering significant media criticism in light of its response to a major regional crisis. We’ve analyzed another insurer’s relevancy in the small business arena by conducting value proposition and RTB evaluations with agents and SBOs.

In addition to providing market research data for each individual project, Bauman Research also helps to serve in the role of company historian by continuously reminding us of past research and how it relates to new project work.
